We have the most comprehensive and apropos course curriculum in the field of cosmetic nursing and dermal therapies. Students’ competency based practical skills are developed within an excellent learning environment, with a 1:2 trainer to student ratio. Our courses are recognized by the cosmetic medical profession, ensuring more employment opportunities upon graduation. AACDS is the only college in the field of cosmetic medicine and dermal therapies offering a free recruitment service to our graduates. All AACDS courses are developed and delivered by various lecturers, each chosen for their specialty in a exceptional field. AACDS has no financial interest in any of the equipment or products used in training. Industry experienced trainers assessors. Students who choose to observe on campus can entire their theory units in a small class environment, where the highest number of students is 18. Possible training is delivered in a quality learning environment of only two students per trainer, NOT group training or simply observation clinical placement. AACDS possible training is unique, as only two students at a time are trained. Job prospects in cosmetic clinics are currently very appropriate as cosmetic medicine and dermal therapies are growth industries in Australia. AACDS graduates and alumni have exclusive access to the AACDS Recruitment Site On completion of the clinical placement component students who have suitable clinical experience in industry are immune from CAP. All AACDS courses have been developed specifically to provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in a cosmetic medical practice or advanced skin clinic. The process involves completing a self assessment and providing evidence to encourage each competency standard or learning outcome within the course curriculum. You will be needed to whole an assessment to demonstrate your skills and knowledge. We do NOT produce you with employment on completion of your award, however we do have a recruitment site for our students who have successfully completed their qualification. AACDS does NOT have any financial ties interests in aesthetic equipment companies, and therefore we cannot advocate any brand or manufacturer. Part of all AACDS qualifications is a research unit in which you are required to research IPLLaser machines and manufactures. If you wish to give procedures such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and skin needling, we would support you consider enrolling into a course containing Unit 1.1. Each unit has a diverse number of assessments and exams. Assessments are in the form of clinical studies, tutorial workbooks, case studies, assignments and exams. The Unit Guide and Assessment Plan advises you of the assessment criteria for each unit and your assessor will guide you through your course. Students can defer their studies if extenuating circumstances thwart them from continuing.
